The Horrors of Eritrean captives in Sinai, Egypt
Among the ordeals that these Eritrean captives are facing are: the harrowing experience of having been kidnapped by Rashaida from either refugee camps or farming areas where they used to work in Sudan; the Egyptian collaborators who shackle their ankles and ask for more money than what the Rashaida have sold them for; the beating and torture they are facing daily by their captors in Sinai who are asking for USD 20,000 for each head; the killing of one of their comrades who couldn’t pay up; the cutting out of a kidney from one of them; the threat of cutting out their kidneys if they don’t pay up within few days; etc.
This is even worse than slavery! Who ever heard of harvesting body parts during slave ear?
Fellow Eritreans, what is it you are waiting for? You have lost your freedom and dignity, and now even your body parts, under the brutal rule of Isaias regime. Enough is enough. Isaias has to go!
