25th INDEPENDENCE YEAR OF ERITREA

The story that we decided to tell isnt just a story, it's the real life of thousands of young eritreans. May 24,2016, the 25th year of indipendence of Eritrea, its a day that should be a day of celebration. But we, the young eritreans born and raised in Italy, asked to ourself some questions: What we have to celebrate after we lost thousands of young eritreans in the mediterranean sea, in Libia, in Sinai till today? What we have to celebrate while our mothers and fathers are still crying about their childrens that had the courage to escape from a country that make them slave? Some of them dead and some of them saved. What we have to celebrate in a country where if you speak against the regime you could be imprisoned because there is no laws no constitution that defends your rights? What we have to celebrate when a country that is empty, without the young generation that is fleed away in search of freedom and democracy? We wanted to create this video for the 25th year of indipendence to point up the real situation that there is in Eritrea, we are hoping that the message will arrive to everybody, opposition and supporters. We want to apologize in advance if there will be some mistakes in our tigrigna, we know that we have to improve it but we tried our best. LETS STAND WITH OUR PEOPLE AND OPEN OUR EYES, TOMORROW HISTORY WILL ASK YOU! Thank you so Much Winta, Helen and Sara. Music by: Hani Mehereteabe
